The Use of a Psychoanalytic Technique

|
It is difficult to explain psychoanalytic techniques. But I tried to describe just one aspect of psychoanalytic techniques. It is how to grasp a unconscious process in patients’ minds. I quoted some clinical vignettes from the cases of famous analysts, one psychotherapy case supervised by me and one of my own analytic cases to show what the patients want to say in their unconsciousness. This is merely one of many facets of psychoanalytic techniques. So it should be born in mind that a therapist has to be careful in applying this facet shown in this article to psychotherapy cases. If it is applied carefully, it would be a good use for a psychotherapy.
